The role: Join our Human Resources Team as an HR Assistant, an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, detail-oriented professional with proven administrative experience, ideally in higher education or a similarly complex setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, and deliver exceptional service to staff and stakeholders. In this role, you will oversee the recruitment lifecycle, support payroll administration, maintain accurate personnel records, ensure compliance with employment legislation, and provide first-line HR support to staff and managers. This post is available immediately. Key Responsibilities: Manage recruitment processes, from job postings to onboarding. Support payroll tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Respond to HR enquiries via phone, email, and in person. Oversee probation and annual reviews. Maintain confidential personnel records and generate workforce reports. Selection Criteria: GCSEs in English and Mathematics or equivalent. Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills. Proficient in HR systems, Microsoft Office, and data handling.
