Vacancy: ERP Implementation SME - Supply Chain (Fixed Term 12-18 months) Location: Royston Job Family: Supply Chain As the Supply Chain Systems SME for Project Fusion, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service and supply chain expertise for the Chemical Products operation within the PGMS UK business. Your purpose is to develop a clear understanding of the Chemical Products production process, using IT and data, to drive an efficient and effective flow of materials through the Supply Chain, with the aim of satisfying customer requirements and controlling PGM inventory. Your responsibilities: Insight Development: Develop a strong understanding of the Chemical Products Supply Chain, identifying key areas for improvement and optimization. System Expertise: Serve as the primary expert on PGMS supply chain systems, ensuring optimal functionality and integration with other business systems. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and performance within the supply chain. Data Management: Oversee the management and integrity of supply chain data, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and IT, to align system capabilities with business needs. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using supply chain systems. Project Management: Take a leading role and participate in projects related to system upgrades, implementations, and enhancements. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and standards, and manage risks associated with system operations. Data Interpretation: Interpret multiple streams of data, transforming them into a single source of truth for accurate ERP deployment. Requirements for the role: Planning Experience: Demonstrable experience within planning. S&OP and S&OE Knowledge: Knowledge and experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE), including Integrated Business Planning (IBP). Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with strong organizational and planning skills. Collaboration Skills: Ability to build strong working relationships with other functional teams. Analytical Skills: An analytical approach to problem-solving. Learning and Awareness: A willingness to learn and an awareness of business and commercial issues. ERP and MRP Knowledge: Strong knowledge of ERP systems and experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) within a production supply environment.
