As a Business Development Executive, UK, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales in the construction and power rental industries. You will leverage your industry experience and proactive attitude to develop strategies that expand our market presence and enhance market share.
Responsibilities
Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients within the construction and power rental sectors.
Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads through networking, industry events, cold calling, and other outreach methods to build a robust sales pipeline.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry influencers to foster collaboration and partnership opportunities.
Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals tailored to meet the specific needs of clients, highlighting the benefits of our battery energy storage solutions.
Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and implement effective sales strategies that align with company goals.
Industry Engagement: Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to effectively position our products in the market.
Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to management on progress toward goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the construction or power rental industries.
Strong understanding of battery energy storage solutions and their applications in various sectors.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
A proactive, self-motivated approach to identifying opportunities and driving results.
Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and make data-driven decisions.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Ability to travel 50%-60% of the time. Remainder will be working remotely in home state
