Overview:
Compass Associates is currently seeking a skilled Social Worker to join a leading mental health service in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to supporting children and adolescent clients facing mental health and eating disorder challenges.
As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality social care interventions. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with the MDT to implement evidence-based mental health and social care strategies.
* Building strong relationships with patients, families, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support and safeguarding.
* Providing expert advice on safeguarding issues and contributing to care plans and risk assessments.
* Acting as the designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
* Monitoring patients’ ongoing mental states and parenting capabilities in relation to their mental health.
What We’re Looking For:
* A degree in Social Work with current registration with Social Work England.
* CAMHS and inpatient experience.
* Minimum of 2 years working within a mental health care setting.
* Eating Disorder experience (desirable).
