Business Development Manager
Field based to cover the UK (commutable to Worcester)
Are you a driven and experienced Business Development Manager with a passion for sales and building strong client relationships? Our client is seeking a motivated individual to lead and execute sales strategies, develop new business opportunities, and exceed set targets in both B2B and B2C markets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Developing a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
2. Researching and implementing successful sales strategies for new markets and customer needs.
3. Arranging business meetings with prospective clients and presenting the company's products and services.
4. Preparing and managing sales contracts, ensuring compliance with established rules and guidelines.
5. Building long-term relationships with existing and new customers.
6. Establishing effective sales processes and maintaining accurate records on CRM systems, including sales, revenue, and invoices.
7. Developing and mentoring entry-level staff.
8. Contributing to the company's overall objectives and participating in training and development activities as required.
Previous Experience and Skills Required:
1. Demonstrable working experience as a Business Development Manager or senior sales executive within a construction-related role.
2. Detailed understanding of property construction and/or civil engineering projects.
3. Strong marketing knowledge within home construction or civil engineering sectors.
4. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
6. Passionate about building long-lasting relationships with clients.
7. Willingness to identify personal training needs and participate in ongoing development opportunities.
Basic salary - up to £60k + OTE
