Job summary Lead, mentor and motivate the security staff and team leaders across all sites. Line manager responsibility for security team leaders and second line manager for security staff. Monitor the safety, performance and wellbeing of all staff. Reporting all absences in a timely manner to the security operations manager and take any necessary action to ensure correct staff numbers. Ensure all staff are briefed accordingly by team leaders. Draw up weekly staff rosters ensuring all shifts are covered. In conjunction with the Security Admin Officer Booking and allocation of staff holidays. In the absence of the Security admin officer maintain staff attendance records, including inputting information on to ESR and SMART IT systems within agreed Trust timeframes. Main duties of the job Provide day to day supervision and direction to the security / car parking officers on site Provide day to day support to the security operations manager and Heads of Security in a wide range of duties. To provide a high quality and effective security service for staff, patients and visitors to ensure a safe and secure environment. Protect NCA property, detect and prevent crime. Helping users, including the public, and acting as the first point of contact on minor travel and parking enquiries and issues. Monitoring and controlling parking areas to ensure safe and effective operation.
