This permanent academic role offers the chance to shape the Centre’s research, design, and consultancy in avionic systems design and integration. About the Role You will deliver high-quality postgraduate teaching in avionic systems design and integration, alongside conducting research aligned with future aerospace needs. Supported in building research teams and securing funding, the role involves managing research, consultancy, teaching, project management, and student supervision. About You We seek a qualified individual with aerospace or related industry experience to join our team, offering autonomy in research beyond typical industrial settings. A background in high-impact, cross-disciplinary, and industry-relevant research is advantageous. At the Senior Lecturer level, leadership in course management, business development, securing large funding, and managing research networks is expected. Applicants should hold a doctorate in a relevant field or possess extensive industry experience, with a strong R&D track record in avionics design or systems, collaborative skills across disciplines, and a proven ability to attract income. Teaching experience, programming expertise, and strong communication skills are highly valued.
