Job Title: Customer Service Administrator

Salary: £11.44 per hour paid weekly
About the company:
A large well-known public-sector business based in the heart of Ashton is looking for someone to join the team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting chance to work with this business in a busy team where no two days are the same, and every conversation had with users is different.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing advice, supplying information, and supporting residents/service users where necessary.
2. Handling queries related to Council tax, Housing Benefit, Tax support, and more.
3. Assisting in making claims in respect of housing benefits.
4. Assessing and processing applications.
5. Helping with applications related to blue badges.
6. Attending weekly meetings and continuous training meetings.
7. Plus much more.
Person Specification:
1. Previous experience working within customer service handling complex queries.
2. Strong IT skills with the ability to multitask - log information/navigate around systems while communicating on the phone.
3. Ability to work to strict deadlines.
The working hours are Monday to Friday during typical office hours, and the hourly rate of pay is £11.44, which is paid on a weekly basis.
Please note that due to the nature of this business and the access the appointed person will have on the systems, a DBS check will be required.
