Full Time working 5pm till 1:30am on a 5 day work pattern to include weekends on occasion.

As an Ambulance Preparation Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our ambulances are well-prepared and equipped to provide prompt and efficient emergency medical services.

Main duties of the job
Responsibilities
* Clean and sanitize ambulances after each use to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
* Stock ambulances with necessary medical supplies and equipment, ensuring they are readily available for emergency situations.
* Inspect and maintain ambulance equipment, including oxygen tanks, defibrillators, and stretchers, to ensure they are functioning properly.
* Keep accurate records of all supplies and equipment in ambulances, monitoring and replenishing as needed.
* Follow strict protocols and procedures to handle hazardous materials safely and dispose of them appropriately.
* Collaborate with the transport team to ensure smooth handover of incoming and outgoing ambulances.
* Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of the ambulance garage and storage areas.

Requirements
* No experience necessary, full training provided!
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision under pressure.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
* Valid C1 driver's licence – This is essential to enable you to drive the emergency service vehicles at Make Ready Sites.
* A basic DBS check will be required for the role – this will be actioned by Churchill.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Shift start times are typically 6am or 6pm - shifts can vary 12, 8 or 6 hours.
* Either Full Time 40.5 week or zero hours contract to provide cover for sickness and holiday.

Please note that the salary range noted on the vacancy is in line with agenda for change (AFC) pay scales. All successful applicants would be placed automatically at the bottom of the banding, unless proven, relevant NHS or equivalent experience can be demonstrated.
