Responsibilities:
Drive Revenue Growth and Business Development
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to achieve revenue targets and drive growth.
• Secure a compelling and scalable new roster of brand partners to deliver targeted B2B revenues.
• Strategically grow revenue within the existing client portfolio through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Develop and execute a clear strategy to achieve annual B2B revenue targets as set by the CEO.
• Build a compelling portfolio of brand partners across categories, including non-endemic partners.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and potential challenges.
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand market share and enter new verticals.
Advertising and Marketing Expertise
• Leverage expertise in advertising and marketing products (social, display, programmatic) to offer integrated and impactful client solutions.
• Oversee delivery of compelling proposals tailored to each client’s unique needs, ensuring alignment with their goals.
• Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, advertising tools, and marketing platforms to provide best-in-class solutions.
• Explore and introduce innovative tools, platforms, or processes to enhance business development efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Content Integration
• Work closely with founders, editorial, marketing, e-commerce and design teams to incorporate commercial opportunities seamlessly into the content portfolio.
• Understand the brand’s tone of voice, positioning, and upcoming content calendar to align campaigns with cultural and industry moments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maximize revenue opportunities across all channels and ensure successful execution.
Client and Stakeholder Relationship Management
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with global partners in marketing, PR and sales, ensuring ongoing communication and identifying new opportunities.
• Act as a brand representative at industry events, confidently liaising with agencies and brands directly.
• Manage stakeholder communication, providing insights, feedback, and seamless updates to ensure expectations are met.
• Oversee post-partnership results and focus on long-term partner investment and renewals.
• Foster relationships with key decision-makers at potential partner organizations to secure high- impact collaborations.
Leadership Management
• Spearhead the Partnerships strategy responsible for multiple and concurrent partnerships, including new business activations and renewals.
• Provide strategic oversight to ensure all contractual obligations are met, activations remain on- brand, and deliverables exceed client expectations.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance within the team.
Reporting and Strategic Insights
• Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations to optimize performance.
• Use data-driven analysis to inform decision-making and improve the effectiveness of partnership strategies.
• Oversee the development of a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent progress toward quarterly and annual revenue goals.
