The Logistics Manager will play an integral role in managing relationships with suppliers, customers, and agencies to coordinate the movement of inbound & outbound goods, on time and in full.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Logistics Manager will have responsibility for, but not limited to, the following:
1. Managing all administration tasks for shipment of finished goods on delivered incoterms
2. Managing all administration tasks for the receipt of raw materials and products. Book transport and prepare paperwork for all suppliers on non-delivered incoterms
3. Managing the accuracy and efficiency of Warehouse processes including the execution of Making Material Flow and stocktaking policies and procedures to improve inventory accuracy and control
4. Managing the daily manifests to schedule work for receipt into and out of the warehouse
5. Supply Chain Metrics inclusive of Gross & agreed inventory accuracy metrics.
6. Responsible for managing warehouse external storage and premium freight costs
7. Leading problem resolution, root cause countermeasure and action plans to minimise disruption to the customer and OTD metric

Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
1. Appropriate workplace experience in a shipping department within a manufacturing, export, import or logistics environment
2. Knowledge of ERP systems
3. Use of common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
