With a robust global platform and a strong focus on driving growth, the bank is seeking a dynamic Director to lead its expansion in London, focusing on the Technology/Software sectors and verticals The Role: As the Director, you will be responsible for spearheading the bank's growth strategy, leveraging your extensive network and expertise in the Technology, IT Services, and Software sectors. You will lead client engagements, originate new opportunities, and guide a high-performing team to execute complex M&A transactions seamlessly. Key Responsibilities: Origination Leadership: Drive the origination of M&A deals within the Technology, IT Services, and Software sectors, leveraging your established network and market insights. Client Development: Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with C-level executives, private equity firms, and other key stakeholders to position the bank as the advisor of choice. Strategic Growth: Shape and execute the firm’s growth strategy, ensuring alignment with global business objectives and market opportunities. Transaction Oversight: Provide strategic guidance and leadership across the deal lifecycle, from origination through execution, including structuring, negotiation, and closing. Market Thought Leadership: Represent the firm as a market leader through conferences, panels, and thought leadership initiatives, strengthening the brand’s reputation in the region. Key Requirements: Experience: A minimum of 8 years in investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A advisory, with a successful track record of deal origination and execution in the Technology, IT Services, Software sectors. Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in originating and closing complex transactions with clients across UK and Europe. Leadership: Exceptional leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and manage teams, drive growth, and navigate complex client dynamics. Network: An extensive network of relationships with key decision-makers, including corporate clients, private equity firms, and other relevant stakeholders.
