The role & what you take care of:
We have an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused, highly motivated Multi-skilled Carpenter to join our Customer Experience and Home Service team. From the initial job report to its completion, you will play a key part in delivering these works to a high standard, whilst meeting our customers’ needs and complying with current legislation. The role encompasses a diverse and rewarding working routine, with great benefits, access to a company van, uniform, and all trade-relevant power tools supplied.
* The role requires a comprehensive knowledge and a diverse range of skills. Applicants should possess proficiency and certification in carpentry, and skills in associated trades such as Plumbing (1st & 2nd fix), Tiling, Decorating, Plastering, Floor Laying (Sheet & Tile), UPVC Window Repairs.
* You will be required to be on call once every 10-12 weeks, for which you will receive a standby allowance.

What you need to be successful:
* Candidates will need to be qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 or equivalent, with a minimum of one year post-qualification experience.
* You will excel as a team player, additionally demonstrating independent problem-solving skills and the ability to work without supervision.
* The role involves using an iPad and requires basic IT competency.
* We seek skilled, positive, polite, and approachable individuals who are eager to learn and work with our equipment and systems.
* A full driving licence is essential.
