What you'll do:
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality financial analysis and information that supports decision-making at the portfolio level. Your ability to develop strong relationships with both internal and customer partners will be key in this role. You won't just be 'producing the numbers', but also articulating and presenting the key messages from the data to senior stakeholders. Your deep understanding of our programmes, along with the customer's priorities and challenges, will enable you to make significant contributions. There is an opportunity for you to inspire change, challenge processes, and bring about digitisation and modernisation in finance processes and reporting tools.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Finance Business Partner role is a qualified accountant (ACA/ACMA/ACCA) with relevant post-qualified experience. You possess good communication skills which enable you to form effective working relationships across multi-functional teams. Your ability to interpret financial information allows you to communicate key messages concisely to senior stakeholders. You have detailed knowledge of long-term contract accounting including IFRS15 and Estimate at Completion (EAC) processes. Your experience in producing management reports and consolidating large datasets from multiple sources is highly valued. Commercial awareness, coupled with your ability to interpret contracts for financial analysis, is essential. You are familiar with finance systems and tools (e.g., SAP), MS Excel, and have experience using powerBI or similar tools.
