The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the electrical integrity of equipment and providing comprehensive engineering support under the guidance of the Engineering Team Leaders and the Chief Engineer.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Perform planned and preventative maintenance while actively developing and improving PPM schedules.
* Troubleshoot and resolve machine breakdowns to ensure optimal production line efficiency.
* Assist in maintaining the engineering stores by identifying required parts and raising requisition forms for repairs and stock replenishment.
* Ensure compliance with stores booking-in and booking-out procedures.
* Ensure that all current practices meet Health and Safety and Food Safety standards, striving to exceed requirements whenever possible.
Knowledge and Experience
* A formal engineering qualification (e.g., City and Guilds, ONC/HNC, or equivalent) or extensive engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Ideally, 2–3 years of experience in a fast-paced industrial environment.
* Preferred knowledge and experience in maintaining modern processing plant machinery.
* Experience with food processing equipment (desirable but not essential).
* The ability to use electrical test equipment, read schematic diagrams with experience in single and 3 phase installations including motors, inverters, and PLC’s (PLC’s desirable but not essential). (Electrical Engineer)
* Being proficient in use of mechanical fitting/fabrication and associated equipment i.e., lathe; milling machine; and welding equipment (desirable but not essential). (Mechanical Engineer).
