Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness.
In the role of Supervisor, you will report to Head Housekeeper and be responsible for supporting your team in the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department.
Duties
1. Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including changing bed linens, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
2. Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them promptly to the appropriate department.
3. Ensure that all public areas are kept clean and tidy throughout the day.
4. Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintaining equipment and supplies.
5. Respond to guest requests in a courteous and efficient manner.
6. Maintain an organised cart with cleaning supplies and ensure that it is stocked appropriately.
7. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred but not essential.
2. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
3. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
4. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
6. A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding guest service.
