An exciting opportunity for a Housing Scheme Manager to join a well-established organisation at the heart of business operations on a permanent basis.
About the Role
1. Responsible for the day-to-day enquiries relating to the schemes.
2. Supporting residents to live independently and working with external agencies to ensure residents get access to the right services.
3. Ensuring the scheme is safe and all health and safety checks are carried out in line with policies and procedures.
4. Monitoring budgets and service charge accounts, ensuring that residents' homes are well maintained and repairs completed to a high standard.
5. Taking ownership and fully investigating any complaints received, including anti-social behaviour.
6. Monitoring cleaning, gardening, and other contractors' performance when on site, ensuring that works are completed to a satisfactory standard.
About You
1. Certificate in Supported Housing, Chartered Institute of Housing or equivalent (preferred but not essential or willing to work towards).
2. Knowledge of Housing Benefit requirements and criteria.
3. A wide knowledge of health and social issues that may affect our residents.
4. At least two years of housing experience in a similar or related field (essential).
5. Ability to deal with challenging and emergency situations in a calm manner.
6. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
