What you’ll do
Join our dynamic Government Security Team at Vodafone and play a crucial role in providing operational support to government and law enforcement agencies. As an Agile Project Manager/Scrum Master, you'll be at the heart of our mission to tackle serious crime and save lives. Here's what you'll be doing:
1. Facilitate Agile Meetings: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure smooth project flow.
2. Guide and coach the team: Help your team adhere to Agile practices and principles, delivering high-quality products.
3. Utilise Azure DevOps: Track project progress, manage tasks, and facilitate communication among team members using Azure DevOps.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
5. Identify and remove blockers: Ensure the team can work efficiently by addressing any issues that arise.
6. Develop and maintain project plans: Keep projects on track by managing schedules and budgets.
7. Provide regular updates: Keep stakeholders and senior management informed with regular project updates.
8. Ensure compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain high standards.
Who you are
You will have proven experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master, preferably in a technology or telecommunications environment. You will possess strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in implementing Agile practices. You will be proficient in Azure DevOps for project management and collaboration. You will demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work across the organisation and liaise with other functions to deliver the programme/project. You will be self-motivated and take the initiative with a customer-centric style. You will be flexible with the ability to maintain effectiveness in a changing environment. You will be Security Cleared to SC level. If you have a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification, that's a plus! Knowledge of relevant UK legislation including IPA, DPA & GDPR is also desirable.
