We are a well-established business within Camden Market stocking over 100 different teas and infusions. We are looking for fun and engaging members to join our TEAm. It is important that team members are able to engage in a friendly and informative way with the customer.
The position is for someone to assist the sales staff by:
1. Taking drinks to customers
2. Clearing tables
3. Assisting in making drinks (mostly teas)
4. Helping pack teas and orders
5. Performing cleaning tasks
6. Helping stock the shop
We would like the successful candidate to assist us with our social media posting and the creation of reels and posts by interacting with customers. We are very highly rated across all platforms, and it is crucial for us to maintain and grow this reputation of friendliness, politeness, and engagement. On Google, we are rated with a perfect 5 stars, and Camden Tea Bar is also listed in TripAdvisor's TOP 10% of cafes in the world.
What is expected?
1. At least 1 year of hospitality-focused work
2. Treat the customer as you would like to be treated
3. Approachable and friendly attitude
4. Punctual, polite, and presentable
5. Actively engaging customers; every customer should be greeted as you would like to be greeted when entering a shop
6. Ensure the shop is clean, shelves dusted, floor swept, wood polished, etc.
7. Leave the shop and all equipment at the end of the day as you would like to arrive to it in the morning
8. Making drinks for customers, hot or cold, and tidying the tables after
Experience: Required
Languages: English – Advanced
Employment: Part-time
Schedule: Weekdays, some weekends, 6-8 hours a day
Salary: £9 – £10.5 hourly
Starting time: Immediate start!
