Location - Bradford, West Yorkshire
Commutable from; Halifax, Brighouse, Pudsey, Shipley, Bingley, Queensbury, Huddersfield, Cleckheaton, Birstall and surrounding areas
Salary: £75,000
Working Hours: 4.00 pm finish Mon-Thurs & 3 pm finish Friday

Background
Our client is a leading supplier of engineering systems and solutions with over 30 years' experience in engineering and manufacturing process systems solutions for the water, food and beverage, chemical, and oil & gas sectors.
They have developed two world-class sites across the Bradford area and are renowned for developing and looking after their employees. A unique opportunity has become available to lead a rapidly growing business unit in a senior role as General Manager.
The Role
The General Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of production, projects, and commercial teams. Some key responsibilities include:
1. Lead and mentor direct reports enabling them to achieve their full potential and fostering a positive environment
2. Drive and engage business development strategies to ensure opportunities are maximised
3. Measure and manage costs and revenue to justify business decisions and present these to stakeholders where necessary
4. Oversee key projects from inception to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and internal safety is prioritised
5. Analyse projects to ensure costs remain accurate and deadlines are achievable
6. Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and accreditations is maintained
7. Brief, coordinate, and direct subcontractors to ensure an efficient and seamless process
8. Have a strategic view of problem-solving prior to challenges arising
9. Develop and manage the supply chain, looking for improved opportunities
10. Analyse, manage, and mitigate risks
The Candidate
As the General Manager you will:
1. Have experience and a track record of success in general management
2. Preferably have worked in a manufacturing, industrial, or construction environment
3. Have experience in engineering including rules, regulations, and quality standards
