The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to register in order for us to put your forward to the position. The ideal candidate will support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and provide one-to-one and group support for students. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is committed to helping them succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
-Support the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and classroom activities.
-Provide one-to-one and small group support for students, ensuring their individual needs are met.
-Assist with classroom management and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
-Help assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to the teacher as needed.
-Support students with additional learning needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
-Supervise students during breaks, lunchtime, and other non-teaching times.
-Assist in preparing classroom resources and materials.
What We Are Looking For:
-Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
-A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
-A patient, caring, and proactive attitude.
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
-An understanding of child development and educational needs.
-A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential.
-A commitment to promoting equality and inclusion in the classroom.
