Maxstoke Park Golf Club is seeking a General Manager
Overview: The successful candidate must be an engaging person with a hands-on approach to management & leadership and have entrepreneurial flair. The General Manager will demonstrate skills to drive new member initiatives and other income streams while leading a small management team to deliver a high level of service to members and visitors.
Responsibilities:
* Customer experience: Maximise the enjoyment and satisfaction of all users of the Club including members, visitors, and societies.
* Income growth: Drive revenue from all streams including membership, societies, visitors, and our food & beverage offerings.
* Commercial control: Manage the Club in line with agreed budgets.
* Resource planning: Deliver cost-effective day-to-day projects and efficient support services.
* Inspiration and leadership: Set a high standard of service for all staff.
The position will also work closely with the Course Manager to ensure the course and practice facilities meet the expectations of members and visitors.
Qualifications:
Ideally, a Business Related degree or equivalent with experience of working in a sports business. Knowledge of golf will be helpful.
