Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading dealer of material handling equipment looking to recruit a new forklift sales manager to cover and develop their client base across South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, and Derbyshire. With excellent, uncapped commission opportunities and scope for growth, this is a great opportunity for an experienced forklift sales professional to take on a new role selling an innovative product.
Responsibilities
1. Managing an existing client base across South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
2. Business development across the same area selling the company's innovative forklift solutions.
3. Generate new business by visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys and providing customer quotes for forklift hire.
4. Providing a consultative sales approach in order to win new business in the hire and sale of material handling and related equipment.
5. Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth.
Requirements
You will ideally have worked in a sales role within forklift trucks before, with a proven track record in the industry and have the ability to seek new customers effectively. You will be proactive in your approach to selling and will have a solid understanding of equipment hire. The customer is expanding quickly and needs an individual who is able to benefit from their products at a fast pace. In terms of location, you can be based anywhere within South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, or Derbyshire.

1. Competitive salary dependent on experience (up to £35,000 depending on experience).
2. Excellent uncapped commission potential (OTE £50,000-£60,000 achievable based on 15% of profit).
