About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our Programme Management activity as we work to develop and deliver our 2030 Plan.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the operational aspects of a growing programme management team
* Lead the shaping of our programme management strategy to ensure continuing organisational success and growth
* Work closely with technical and operational leads as well as the Senior Management Team
* Develop and/or introduce effective programme management tools, processes, and working practices
* Develop PM skills and leadership competencies across the organisation
* Drive efficient and effective programme delivery
* Monitor PM performance across the organisation
* Establish effective integrated delivery mechanisms with customers, strategic partners, and members
* Lead the PM continuous improvement programme
* Take the early PM lead on major projects to ensure objectives are clear and effective delivery plans are established from day one
Requirements
We are looking for a professionally qualified individual with a strong track record in project management and business transformation. You will have leadership experience and a proven ability in delivering against challenging targets and achieving excellence in service delivery.
You will demonstrate great communication and influencing skills and a passion for continuous improvement. You will be able to lead and improve a highly professional team as part of a dynamic, fast-moving manufacturing research centre with an ambitious vision and growth potential.
