Energis has a new and exciting role for an experienced IT Support Officer.
Based at our clients premises in Co Down you will provide support to both local and global teams, d iagnosing problems and using appropriate support tools to solve hardware and software issues
Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate service descriptions for own services and support the implementation of new or changed services
* Engage in dialogue with business units to develop and enhance business processes and IT support
* Provide 2nd level support for assigned services
* Collaborate with global teams to ensure IT services align with business needs
* Participate in projects aimed at improving IT systems and processes
* Provide on-site software and hardware support, maintenance, and diagnostics
* Maintain detailed records of all support requests and resolutions
Criteria:
* Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related technical field OR equivalent experience
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT support, IT consulting, or related field
* Proven experience providing 2nd level support for business applications
* Experience engaging with business units to improve IT processes
* Knowledge of hardware maintenance and diagnostics
* Experience with telephony system administration
Desirable:
* Previous experience working with Microsoft Dynamics
* Experience working with globally distributed teams
Salary is in the region of £40k dependant upon experience.
