The Role:
We are seeking an RMN with inpatient experience, including leadership and management, to join our highly motivated and enthusiastic team. As a Ward Manager, you will provide direct supervision to two Deputy Ward Managers and lead the team in managing the day-to-day running of the wards.
This role involves planning, overseeing, and coordinating the quality of nursing and patient care, managing the clinical environment, staffing, rota management, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, legislation, and quality standards. You will also participate in the on-call rota, ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage two wards, with the support of deputies and the Director of Clinical Services.
* Provide direct management supervision to Deputy Ward Managers.
* Oversee and coordinate nursing care and patient care across the wards.
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and quality standards.
* Manage staffing, rota, and the clinical environment.
About Us:
We are a modern and spacious 28-bedded Rehabilitation and Recovery mental health unit providing care for men of adult working age with mental illness. With a focus on developing independence skills, our unit supports patients in learning how to manage their conditions and symptoms, helping to prevent future relapse and supporting them on their journey to living in the community.
We offer a full multi-disciplinary team (MDT), with Psychology and Occupational Therapy playing a key role in our approach to care.

Pay: Up to £50,000.00 per year
