To work as part of the Haematology/Oncology team across outpatient setting and Dorothea unit.
The Health Care Assistant will be directly responsible for the safe completion of delegated duties and assisted patient care. Undertaking a compassionate and caring role to meet the respective needs of patients, relatives and team members. He/she must never undertake duties for which he/she is neither qualified nor trained to perform.

Key Relationships
Internal:
To work as part of the Haematology/Oncology team across outpatient setting and Dorothea unit.
To escalate issues immediately to line manager
External:
To work alongside service providers
To work to provide a Haematology/Oncology service between GEH and outside providers
Risk Assessment:
The post holder will need to be physically fit to assist patient transfers in a clinic/day unit setting.
