To work with both the core Healthcare and Pharmacy team undertaking both pharmacy technician and medication administration skills.
Provide medicines management, general Health Education advice and specialist technical services to the prisoners, Healthcare Staff and external agencies.
To work within the pharmacy and Healthcare Department to improve and develop the pharmacy service to ensure the delivery of a patient-focused pharmacy service for Prisoners.
To administer medication to patients within the pharmacy and on the prison wings having undertaken relevant training and competencies.
Responsible for safe, efficient, and effective dispensing and issuing of medications to patients.
Responsible for safe, efficient, and effective checking of prescriptions dispensed by other members of the pharmacy team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
