being 1 of only 8 national agencies on the most lucrative government contract frameworks, you will be able to take the reins, develop and reinvent the Smile brand across all areas of the business, really making a difference. \n \nAs a member of our team, you can join various committees that focus on community and charity work, diversity, equity, and inclusion (D, E & I), mental health and well-being, and don't forget the annual, paid for, overseas conference!?\n \nWHAT IS YOUR ROLE?\nAs the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining innovative marketing strategies that deliver a positive ROI for the business, with a focus on boosting brand awareness as well as supporting candidate and client attraction.\n \nWorking closely with the Board of Directors, you will be in control of planning and owning the marketing strategy, activity, content and social media across the business including social media, blogs, email and print/promotional products where needed, focussing on building brand awareness; your main responsibilities will include the attraction of new candidates and clients for the agency and internal staff, monitoring and reporting on ROI.\n \nThis role offers you the career progression you are looking for with exposure working at a senior level where you will be seen and treated as the expert; offering hybrid working split between the office and remote, flexibility is on offer for you.\n \nWHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?\nYou’ll be responsible for owning and delivering Smile Education’s marketing strategy, including:\n\nMaintaining and delivering a content calendar for Smile’s organic social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X\nUsing Canva to design digital and printed marketing materials, including social media and email graphics as well as leaflets, booklets and business cards\nSearch Engine Optimisation tactics to increase organic web traffic\nWriting regular blog posts for the Smile Education website\nPlanning and delivering engaging email marketing campaigns for our pool of candidates\nUsing CMS to maintain and update the website as and when needed\nImplementing paid social media campaigns using Meta Business Suite\nMeasuring, monitoring and increasing volume and quality of applications through above marketing activities\nReporting on the success of marketing activities using Google Analytics\nSupporting different areas of the business with the above activities, including internal recruitment and Smile’s MSP clients\nManaging and monitoring marketing budget to ensure marketing spend and investments deliver effective ROI\nMaintaining Smile’s brand guidelines, ensuring all marketing materials meet these\nResearching and applying to relevant industry awards\nCreating content for the company intranet and other internal communications activities where needed \nARE YOU IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE?\nYou’ll be an adaptable, creative marketing all-rounder, with:\n\nPrevious digital marketing experience\nExperience of strategic marketing planning, campaign creation and management\nThe ability to bring ideas to life through engaging content, including social media, blogs, videos, photos, graphics, and traditional marketing materials such as leaflets\nExperience managing multiple social media platforms to promote brand awareness\nA solid understanding of reporting and analysis to assess marketing ROI\nAn understanding of print and promotional marketing materials (i.e. setting artwork up for print, ordering promotional materials for events)\nExcellent time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to juggle intersecting and changing deadlines effectively\nKnowledge and understanding of SEO and how to increase the visibility of key search terms on Google would be ideal \nKnowledge/experience of the following tools is essential to this role:\n\nCanva or similar graphic design software\nGoogle Analytics\nMailchimp or a similar email campaign tool \nDesirable:\n\nGoogle Search Console\nSemRush\nGoogle Business Manager\nMicrosoft SharePoint\nExperience in working with external marketing/web agencies \nYou’ll be:\n\nA confident communicator, including with senior external and internal stakeholders\nComfortable taking ownership of Smile Education’s marketing activities and building genuine relationships to work with multiple people across the business\nProactive, self-motivated and reliable\nUnderstanding of the core values of the business: Teamwork, Quality and Commitment \nWHAT WILL SOME OF YOUR BENEFITS BE?\n\n£25-32k dependent on experience\nProgression and exposure to a senior role working closely with Board of Directors\nOpportunity to really make a marketing role your own and take ownership\nA lunch break EVERYBODY takes, not a benefit, but an expectation!\n25 days annual leave plus all Bank Holidays which increases with service\nAdditional day off on your birthday!\nAnnual overseas conference for EVERYONE in the business (previous locations have included Barcelona, Ibiza and Mallorca)\n4pm finish EVERY Friday\nSplit working week between home and modern city centre office\nOn site modern gym with extended lunch break to ‘freshen up’\nChance to join our committees \nWHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?\nPlease send your cv to (url removed) and call me on (phone number removed)\n\nWe are committed to safeguarding children.
