Our Rail client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a dynamic Property team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of critical infrastructure projects, focusing on enhancing customer experience and accessibility. This is an initial 9-month contract (outside IR35) / £400 per day / York office 3-days per week Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of 3-4 projects, each valued between £3-5 million Oversee project lifecycle from tender evaluation through to completion Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery Mentor and guide Assistant Project Managers to support their professional development Maintain project documentation, budgets, and schedules Required Skills and Experience Minimum 2-3 years of project management experience within the Rail industry Strong understanding of rail terminology, processes, and project lifecycle Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements Personal Attributes Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude High emotional intelligence and ability to build strong relationships Adaptable and able to compromise when necessary to achieve project goals Committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences
