We are currently looking for a Full Time Site based People Advisor to join our growing team in Cumbernauld (Lenziemill). As a People Advisor, you will have the fantastic opportunity to partner with the People Officer & People Manager, and operate as a true generalist, managing the day to day running of the People function for the site.

Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (site based)
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 0900-1700 (with flexibility to adjust working hours in line with business operational requirements).
Location: Gist Cumbernauld (Lenziemill), G67 2XN
What you’ll do:
* Ensuring the operational success and development of the HR department, working closely alongside senior site management
* Heavy involvement in matters of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues
* Absence management
* Delivery of induction training for new starters, consistently updating welcome pack information
* Ensuring all elements of HR administration are carried out - e.g. starters, leavers, referencing, security and compliance checks, etc
* Assist with all aspects of recruitment and selection on site
Who you are:
* Experience within a similar People Advisory/Officer position
* Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards
* Previous experience within the FMCG, logistics or supply chain sector would be highly desirable, as would exposure to a unionised environment
* Excellent relationship building & communication skills
* Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
* Experience with payment systems (Kronos) or people management systems (SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft) would be beneficial
