Position: Clinical Research Nurse
We are currently recruiting a Clinical Research Nurse for our Synexus Clinical Research site in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
We pride ourselves on being the “Patient’s choice for clinical research,” and our Nursing teams are directly involved in ensuring continuity of care during studies.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week.
Role overview: The Clinical Research Nurse is responsible for nursing activities related to clinical trials across various therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Completing all relevant clinical competency training assessments and attending research study protocol training, along with mandatory training according to Synexus COPs/SOPs.
2. Performing visits, observations, safety reporting, and interventions with participants in accordance with procedures, study protocol, SOPs, and policies.
3. Carrying out pre-screens efficiently to optimize patient recruitment.
4. Encouraging patients to stay in the study and participate in future trials.
5. Collecting, verifying, and entering study data accurately into source notes, CRF/eCRF, and related paperwork.
6. Ensuring timely action on data queries.
7. Promoting a welcoming and professional environment for staff and participants.
8. Participating in multidisciplinary meetings.
9. Initiating emergency actions when required, such as cardiac arrest, anaphylaxis management, fire, or critical incidents.
Candidate Requirements:
* A qualified Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (Adult) with no limitations to practice.
* A passion for the Clinical Research industry.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
* A patient-focused attitude.
