Role
We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join our Product Management team as part of a key global transformation program. In this role, you will support business analysis activities, work closely with stakeholders, and help drive improvements in processes and technology. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career in business analysis within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis and Delivery:
* Support business analysis tasks, including gathering, documenting, and analysing requirements for projects and system enhancements.
* Assist in assessing risks, feasibility, and business impact of different solutions.
* Help ensure solutions align with business needs and transition smoothly into operations.
Stakeholder Management:
* Work closely with internal business teams, IT, and external stakeholders to support change initiatives.
* Assist in maintaining transparent communication throughout the change lifecycle.
* Support business teams in understanding system and process changes.
Innovation and improvement:
* Contribute ideas for improving processes and system functionality.
* Support the standardization of requirement gathering and validation processes.
* Assist in ensuring that solutions align with long-term business goals.
Technical Skills and coordination:
* Work with technical teams to translate business needs into functional requirements.
* Help maintain and prioritize the backlog of features and enhancements.
* Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Project and change management:
* Assist in backlog grooming and prioritization in Agile projects.
* Help coordinate change management activities across different teams.
* Support documentation and tracking of project deliverables.
Ideal Candidate:
* Ideally between 1-3 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Understanding of Compliance, Credit or Risk functions (within a trading or commodities environment is a plus).
* Exposure to business process analysis, data analysis, or financial systems.
* Basic knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with business analysis tools.
