Key Responsibilities
* Monitor parliamentary developments and provide updates to members.
* Support the delivery of Public Affairs Working Group meetings.
* Maintain and update our stakeholder database.
* Draft policy briefings and correspondence for policymakers.
* Organise and attend political events, including roundtables, receptions, visits, and party conferences.
* Collaborate with the communications and events teams to enhance the visibility of our public affairs activities.
* Develop expertise in transport and logistics policy to provide insights to members and stakeholders.
* Attend external events and engage with politicians to build relationships.
Requirements
* Experience in public affairs or a related field.
* Strong interest in politics, government, and policy development.
* Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* A collaborative approach with strong attention to detail.
