Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Science Teacher located in Stretford. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education, preparing lessons using the departmental shared resources, teaching Physics, Biology, and Chemistry to KS 3 & 4, and providing support to ensure students' academic growth. You will be responsible for assessing students' progress, organizing classroom activities, and coordinating with colleagues to enhance the learning environment.
We are a collegiate and supportive science team and a great school to be part of. We are growing and therefore there are continual professional and leadership opportunities for the right person. Currently, we are seeking a STEM lead and a Head of Year, both of which have a TLR attached. However, we are also excited to engage with ECTs who may not yet be ready for additional responsibilities.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience in Science (Degree or similar)
* Qualified Teacher or working towards QTS
* Skilled in creating and delivering stimulating and engaging science lessons
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to inspire and motivate others
* Patience and adaptability to different learning styles
* Experience in using educational technology is an advantage
* Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or related field.
