We are looking for an incredibly organised, enthusiastic and adaptable individual to join our Service Support Team.
As part of the Service Support Team, you will have previous relevant administration and financial experience, preferably within a public sector organisation. You will be highly organised, able to work on your own initiative with the ability and willingness to work as part of a small team on a wide range of tasks.
You will provide the full range of administrative and financial support required by officers across different Services. As part of this, you will develop and maintain complex administrative systems associated with processing invoices, maintaining good financial records, and project management. You must have a high degree of numeracy and be competent in the use of spreadsheets. You will also provide practical support across the Planning and Climate Change Service, Sustainable Growth Service, and other services within the Council in relation to the organisation and delivery of meetings, events, workshops, etc.
You will have direct contact with colleagues in other Services of the Authority, external agencies, and members of the public. You will have excellent numeracy, keyboard, and communication skills and will be committed to high standards of customer service.
You must possess a good standard of education at GCSE Grade C or above including English and Mathematics (or equivalent) and be qualified and have working experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
