We are currently looking for dynamic Site Managers with a Social Housing background to join our ever-growing team here at Connolly!
This is a permanent role, based on site within the North West/Merseyside areas and be required to deliver an organised and professional turnaround on schemes such as kitchen and bathroom refurbishments and replacement of windows and doors.

What you will be responsible for…
As acting Site Manager, the main purpose of this role is to take responsibility for the refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
Your main duties will include but not be limited to:
1. Responsible for the adherence to the plan, specification and programme of works.
2. Required to prepare progress reports, monitor programmes and sign off quality control documents.
3. Aware of cost and managing delegated budgets, working closely with QS to optimise the profitability of projects.
4. Co-ordinate all Team Members, set and update work objectives for teams and individuals. Plan activities and agree work methods to achieve objectives.
5. Allocate work and evaluate teams, individuals and self against objectives, ensuring that no task is beyond the team member’s capabilities.
6. Ensure that induction is rigorously carried out and records completed.
7. Ensuring that all tradesmen have the appropriate material and equipment in order to achieve their designated tasks.
8. Ensuring that the site environment is satisfactory.
9. Responsible for the quality of all work carried out on the site whether undertaken by staff or contractors.
What we are looking for…
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A construction background.
2. A minimum of 2 years experience within a site management role.
3. Knowledge and understanding of the process and delivery to legislative and quality standards.
4. Excellent communication and people skills.
5. IT skills and proficiency in MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).
6. Ideally, you will hold an in-date SMSTS certificate, First Aid at work certificate and Asbestos Awareness certificate.
