About the opportunity: Everton Football Club is seeking a dedicated Groundsperson (Apprentice) to join our team and help maintain our world-class playing surfaces and facilities to the highest standards. As a Groundsperson at Everton, you will be responsible for the maintenance and preparation of our pitches and surrounding facilities. From pitch cutting and marking to equipment upkeep, your work will ensure our teams have the best possible playing surfaces. Some key responsibilities include; Maintain and prepare sports pitches and playing surfaces to professional standards. Carry out pitch marking, grass cutting, and green waste disposal. Set up sports pitches and amenity surfaces as required. Perform minor construction and landscaping work. Operate and maintain machinery, vehicles, and equipment used for ground maintenance. Ensure health and safety standards are met, keeping work areas clean, tidy, and secure. Work collaboratively with colleagues and club staff. Be flexible in your working hours, including participation in a weekend rota. What we offer: A supportive and inclusive environment where you can thrive. The role will be primarily based at Finch Farm, with opportunities to work from other Club sites as required.
