Your Role:
? Deliver bespoke, student-centred learning in a variety of settings (home, libraries, alternative provision sites, or online). ? Support students who may struggle with school-based anxiety, past trauma, social skills, or additional learning needs. ? Provide tuition in Functional Skills, GCSE subjects, and real-world learning, helping students develop academic, social, and emotional skills. ? Use restorative and therapeutic approaches to help students re-engage with learning. ? Collaborate with SENCOs, social workers, and multi-agency professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Who We're Looking For:
?? QTS/QTLS-qualified teachers, FE tutors, alternative provision educators, or experienced mentors. ?? A strong background in working with SEMH, SEND, or disengaged learners. ?? Confidence in teaching students outside of traditional classrooms. ?? A flexible, compassionate approach to working with high-needs learners. ?? Experience in trauma-informed practice, de-escalation strategies, or mentoring is highly desirable.
To be eligible for this role, you must:
Hold the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references.
