We are a specialist neurological and complex trauma physiotherapy team based in the Northwest of England, covering Staffordshire, Cheshire, Lancashire, South Manchester, Liverpool, Shropshire, and the Midlands.

In light of continued growth, we now have an opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our leadership team on a part-time basis. The role will consist of a 50/50 split between leadership and clinical work.

Key Responsibilities:
* To have a relevant degree in Physiotherapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* To possess significant clinical experience in neurological and complex trauma physiotherapy, ideally with over six years of post-graduate experience in these fields.
* To have experience leading a large team of senior physiotherapists with neuro and musculoskeletal skills, as well as physiotherapy assistants and students.
* To have a proven track record of managing complex cases and strategic development.
* To be able to consult with external stakeholders effectively.
* To possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and concise interaction with diverse audiences.
* To be willing to travel for client visits, as required by the service.
* To hold a UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
* To hold postgraduate qualifications demonstrating specialisation in neurology and MSK.
* To have additional certification in leadership.
* To have specific experience collaborating with clients following traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, CP, MS, Parkinson's disease, complex trauma, and PDOC.
* To have specific experience working within the Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence Industry.
* To have experience developing and delivering training programmes, guidelines, risk assessments, standard operating procedures, etc.
Main Responsibilities of the Role:
* Leadership: To provide strategic direction and leadership to the physiotherapy team, fostering a culture of clinical excellence and professional development.
* Clinical Oversight: To ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care through clinical supervision, mentoring, and maintaining up-to-date best practices.
* Team Management: To oversee the recruitment, development, and performance of the physiotherapy team, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
* Client Care Coordination: To lead on complex cases, ensuring comprehensive treatment and follow-up treatment sessions. To provide comprehensive initial assessment reports and follow-up reports as required.
* Quality Assurance: To monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of physiotherapy services, implementing continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance and regulatory standards.
* Stakeholder Liaison: To function as a key point of contact with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, case managers, multidisciplinary teams' members, and other partner organisations.
* Training and Education: To develop and implement training programmes to enhance the clinical skills and knowledge of our physiotherapy team.
* Service Development: To contribute to the strategic development of Next Steps Physiotherapy, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement aligned with the business goals.
