The services of Hays have been retained by our client, a large Housing Association, to recruit a Housing Officer on a temporary basis to cover a period of maternity leave.
Your new role
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a range of generic frontline housing management and customer services in accordance with the Association's policies and procedures, including:
Estate Management;Allocations and Void Management;Ie Recovery / Rent Arrears Management;Anti-Social Behaviour Case Management.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
5 GCSEs (Grades A-C to include Mathematics and English language), or equivalent and a professional housing qualification equivalent to CIH Level 4 or 3 years' relevant experience in a customer-facing role in a social housing setting.
Additionally, you must have:Experience of implementing the rules of the Housing Selection Scheme; to include tenancy management (Transfer Applications, Assignment of tenancy etc) and allocation of properties.Good oral and writtenmunication skills.Organisational skills.Problem-solving ability.The ability tomunicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
