Customs Compliance Administrator Wanted!
Our world-renowned logistics and retail client is looking to recruit 1x administrator to join their busy team based in Rugby, CV23. You will be working within the Customs Compliance team. This position starts as a temporary ongoing position with the potential to be taken on permanently.
Shift Details:
Monday-Friday.
09:00 – 17:00.
(occasionally covering 12:00 – 20:00 in case of sickness/holidays).
£12.14 per hour (rising to £12.21 in April).
Daily Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and process export and import entries.
2. Create comprehensive driver packs.
3. Provide guidance to traders via phone, email, and in-person consultations regarding customs clearance and related procedures, while identifying potential opportunities for paid compliance services.
4. Dispatch proof of export documentation to vendors.
5. Other general admin duties required such as answering calls, responding to emails, etc.
Requirements:
1. Proficient using Microsoft Office.
2. Previous experience in administration.
3. Some knowledge of the transport industry desirable.
4. Strong Communication Skills.
5. Quick Learner.
6. Strong Focus on Accuracy.
7. Right to work in the UK.
8. Own transport or live locally to CV23.
