Therapeutic Support Assistant - Oxford

This amazing specialist school in Oxford are looking for a Therapeutic Support Assistant to join their team starting ASAP.
They are looking for someone who will facilitate and provide individualised support and interventions to their students.
The School:
* Look after students who ages between 4 and 16
* All students have been diagnosed with Autism and struggle with other co-existing needs
* Need support with building on communication skills, social skills and interpersonal skills
* Struggle with mental health needs that branch off into social and emotional needs as well
* This school also make use of a specific therapy during the school day - to which you will be given full training.
Responsibilities in your role as a Therapeutic Support Assistant:
* Provide 1 to 1 and group support to children with social, emotional and mental health needs.
* Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with educational staff
* Provide individualised support to students, addressing their emotional, social, and educational needs.
* Facilitate group activities and promote positive peer interactions
* Provide guidance in emotional regulation and coping strategies
* Make use of the therapeutic interventions to best support the students
