An experienced EHV Electrical Project Manager is needed to oversee high-voltage engineering projects at Primary Power Consulting.
The successful candidate will have relevant substation and/or overhead line experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Based in the North of England, this role will involve regular home-working, allowing for a great work-life balance.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with our team of engineers and clients.
Key responsibilities will include project planning, risk assessment, budgeting, and resource allocation, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
In return for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
About the Role
* Project Management: Oversee high-voltage engineering projects from conception to completion.
* Team Leadership: Manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Client Liaison: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
* Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
* Budgeting: Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and expenses are minimized.
Requirements
* Relevant Experience: 5+ years of experience in EHV electrical project management, preferably in a consulting environment.
* Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of high-voltage engineering principles and practices.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
* Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of engineers and technicians.
* Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CEng or PMP, are desirable.
