Key Responsibilities:
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
Ensure that all Global Financial Reporting under US GAAP, Technical accounting, Statutory accounting, Purchase to Pay, Order-to-cash and financial/ERP systems are delivered to a high standard and driving and delivering required changes to support and meet ongoing and future developments of the underlying business focusing on ongoing governance, SOX compliance and external audits.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Financial Responsibilities:
Leader for teams responsible for all core accounting & finance operations including, financial consolidations under US GAAP, statutory financial statements under IFRS, record to report, procure to pay, order to cash, SOX and financial systems for all Immunocore global operations.
2. Financial Reporting: Timely and well-controlled monthly/quarterly/year-end reporting process for high-quality external financial statements with no reportable control deficiencies or material errors.
3. Proactively identifying, managing, and mitigating financial risks and maintenance of a robust financial control environment.
4. Key player in the Audit & Risk Committee ensuring all required matters are reviewed, discussed, and actioned appropriately.
5. Management of key external stakeholders including external auditors and SOX compliance advisors.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Experience & Knowledge:
Essential:
1. Worked in a senior finance leadership role at a US global, public company.
2. Understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and relevant UK statutory requirements.
3. Experience of working in or closely with international companies, and with a US presence.
4. Ability to consider issues at a strategic level but also to operate within the detail and implement, deliver and embed change.
5. Evidence of continuous improvement mentality, demonstrating improving and transforming finance processes.
6. Managed and implemented technology-based platforms such as NetSuite, ADP, or other ERPs.
7. Experience of producing statutory reports and managing audit processes.
8. Experience in managing teams of 10+ people.

Education & Qualifications:
CPA/ACCA/ACMA/ACA CA/CIMA professional accountant qualification or equivalent.
