Founded in 2014, Pockit offers digital accounts via a mobile app, with the ambition to “build a better banking alternative for customers left behind by high-street banks”. Our app enables users to store and spend money through a prepaid card, manage their finances and send money in the UK and abroad. Following the acquisition of Monese in December 2024, the business is on a trajectory of growth as the two organisations harmonise and integrate in both the UK and across Europe. Supporting the CEO of our thriving and dynamic scale up business, we are looking for a wonderfully experienced EA to facilitate the work of our CEO across both Pockit and Monese as well as his wider business portfolio. Responsible for all aspects of diary management, we need someone who is comfortable in an agile, demanding environment, able to adapt to an ever-changing landscape. As is often the case with growing businesses, priorities change, often at a pace, so our EA needs to be versatile and accommodating. Our Executives are based in our London office (Marylebone), with other office locations in Newcastle, Tallinn (Estonia) and many remote colleagues across Europe and further afield. This role is predominantly London office based, with occasional flexibility to work remotely. Key Responsibilities; Full diary management (business and personal, including travel arrangements when needed) Supporting in personal/family related administration Highly discreet & experienced with handling confidential information Working with the wider exec team to optimise the CEO’s itinerary and client prioritisation Supporting the wider exec team in meeting arrangements and events Preparation of documents, papers and correspondence on behalf of the CEO Support with meeting minutes, board meeting preparation and other administrative tasks Communicating with external stakeholders including investors in facilitating arrangements Supporting the Chief of Staff in the development and delivery of our monthly All Hands meeting (slide decks, coordinating hosts, ensuring tech is in place etc) On hand to meet with visitors, ensuring meeting arrangements including catering are in place and to standard Office management - working collaboratively with the management team in our co-working space and being responsible for administration, meeting logistics and ensuring a smooth-running environment Acting as the lead coordinator on initiatives from the People Team which are designed to develop culture and colleague engagement, such as social events, awareness days, charitable activities, people celebrations and recognition schemes. Support the wider business in the delivery of different ad-hoc projects as and when required Skills and Experience required C-Suite experience, including a direct one to one relationship with a CEO or equivalent. Exposure to a start-up/scale up environment – proficient with investor relationships and extensive external stakeholders. Outstanding organisational skills to manage time sensitive issues Proven in coordinating events (large or small) localised or further afield. An appreciation and belief of the importance of a positive culture and employee engagement. First rate experience in both Microsoft and Google suite products Great interpersonal skills with a warm friendly demeanour and a flexible can do attitude Strong attention to detail and meticulous accuracy Professional and confident communication skills Comfortable in a fast-paced environment working under pressure and to deadlines Flexible toward working hours; able to accommodate out of hours, on occasion.
