Job Description
Material Compliance LeadEnsure compliance with EU (RoHS, REACH, WEEE) and U.S. (TSCA) standards for local production. Operational Supplier Quality Management: On/off-site management, ensuring full execution of supplier qualification and development. Corrective/Preventive Actions: Drive actions with suppliers based on maturity and performance. Support/Improve Supplier KPIs: Work with SCM team to enhance supplier quality performance. Material Compliance FocusInitially concentrate on compliance, gradually moving into Supplier Quality. Regular Reporting: Update on material compliance status, supplier risk mitigation, and facilitate supplier product development. Training/Awareness: Develop and share knowledge of Material Regulations, coach on using dashboards and platforms for data retrieval. Compliance ReviewCheck local product compliances via dashboard, identify gaps, coordinate with teams (Product Management, R&D, QA, SCM) to resolve issues. SOC Preparation: Prepare Statement of Conformity for customers/regulatory bodies, validate with stakeholders. Supplier Quality ManagementValidate supplier quality systems and process quality. PPAP and Surveillance: Drive supplier parts/materials approval, conduct product surveillance at manufacturing sites. Quality Issue Reaction: Support rapid response to supply issues (quality, delivery, non-conformance), prepare claims. Procurement CollaborationWork with Procurement to improve supplier qualification process, including training materials. Supplier Assessments: Lead assessments, drive corrective/preventive actions based on supplier performance.
The Successful Applicant
Ideal Candidate Profile: Education: Degree in Science, Manufacturing, or Engineering (or HNC/HND). Lead Auditor qualification. Experience: Minimum 3 years in manufacturing. Experience in material compliance and/or supplier quality management preferred. Skills
3. Strong knowledge of SAP and BoM structures.
4. Proficient in project management and reporting.
5. Lean 6-Sigma Green Belt desirable.
