BANK Ward Clerk - The Harborne Hospital
Location: The Harborne Hospital, Birmingham
Contract: Bank Contract
Salary: £11.70/hour
We’re looking for a BANK Ward Clerk to join our team based at The Harborne Hospital to provide a reception/administrative service to support the unit in delivering a high-quality service to clients.
What you'll do:
* Meet and greet patients, visitors, consultants, and staff, and deal with their enquiries in accordance with world-class standards.
* Answer telephone enquiries, referring where appropriate.
* Make bookings for consultant appointments and clinical investigations.
* Register patients and enter charges into the computer system.
* Support and, on some occasions, work on other units in the absence of ward clerks.
* Provide administrative support to Unit Manager and Sisters.
* Take minutes, prepare minutes, and agenda for meetings.
What you'll bring:
* Previous admin experience within a healthcare setting.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Computer literate.
