Job Title: Project Manager – Attractions & Live Experiences
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
Location: Bristol / SW England - Central - Easy commute walking/bus/car/train
Hours: 37.5hrs per week - 3 days in office 2 WFH (flex working)
Salary: Up to £35,000pa (DOE)
Job Overview: This role is essential for managing and driving new business opportunities within the Live Events & Attractions sector, as well as fostering and developing experiential partnerships. The position involves overseeing all aspects of project management within Attractions & Live Experiences, contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple live event projects, ensuring all aspects are executed to a high standard, on time, and within budget.
2. Business Development: Drive new business opportunities for live events and attractions, identifying potential partnerships and projects to expand the department’s portfolio.
3. Client Liaison: Build and maintain relationships with external clients, including event & exhibition producers, festival organisers, and attraction venues.
4. Event Planning & Coordination: Organise resources, meetings, and actions, preparing event concepts, pitch presentations, and design briefs.
5. Budget & Contract Management: Create and manage project budgets, issue contracts, and ensure the smooth execution of events.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside various departments, including archiving, marketing, and brand teams, to ensure seamless project delivery.
7. Resource Management: Liaise with and manage crew resources, travel arrangements, and other logistical needs for events and exhibitions.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Proven experience in project management, ideally within the live event or attractions industry.
2. Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
3. Experience in managing external client relationships and coordinating diverse teams.
4. Proficiency in preparing event concepts, pitch presentations, design briefs, and budgets.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
7. Knowledge of the attractions and live events industry is an advantage.
