The Role:
In this esteemed position, you will:
* Oversee the establishment and daily management of a world-class, HFEA-licensed fertility laboratory, implementing advanced techniques such as PGT-A, egg freezing, and overseeing high-volume egg collections, all with an unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest possible success rates.
* Recruit and cultivate a team of highly skilled scientists, elevating the Bristol laboratory to become a centre of excellence within JDH’s esteemed network of clinics.
* Lead the lab’s digital transformation, introducing the latest innovations in technology and workflow optimisation, ensuring operational efficiency and clinical excellence at every level.
* Play a pivotal role in aligning the laboratory’s objectives with JDH’s strategic vision, integrating the Bristol facility seamlessly with the company’s broader clinical framework.
* Maintain the highest standards of compliance and patient care, whilst driving continuous improvement in both laboratory operations and clinical outcomes.
Who You Are:

* Possess a proven track record in the leadership of a high-performing, HFEA-compliant embryology laboratory, with particular proficiency in advanced reproductive technologies such as ICSI, embryo biopsy, and egg freezing.
* Demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities, capable of fostering a collaborative, motivated, and highly efficient team.
* Exhibit a forward-thinking approach, adept at integrating technological advancements to enhance laboratory operations and clinical outcomes.
* Possess exceptional communication skills, able to engage effortlessly with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless functioning and continued growth of the laboratory.
Key Initial Responsibilities:
* Spearhead the procurement of state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and supplies.
* Recruit and mentor a distinguished team of laboratory professionals.
* Develop, validate, and implement laboratory processes, ensuring all required licenses, including the HFEA, are secured.
* Establish and manage a comprehensive Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with JDH’s exacting standards.
* Create and maintain Bristol-specific policies, ensuring alignment with JDH’s overarching clinical and operational protocols.
